Labels are produced from what are known as laminates. In this process a single-sided silicone-coated material is coated with adhesive in the transfer process.

The face material to be printed by the label manufacturers – mainly various papers and films – is laminated on after the adhesive has dried. The desired design is usually applied in a multi-colour printing process, then die-cut, and the excess face material is stripped away.

We offer a wide range of release liners – silicone-coated films as well as silicone-coated papers – for label production. Especially for special labels such as transponder labels, we supply innovative and high-quality solutions.
